When I left the corporate world, it was to fulfil a long-time goal of flipping properties (influenced by watching too much Homes Under The Hammer in my youth).

I set up a company and nerdily called it Aut Faciam — a truncation of a favourite Latin saying aut viam inveniam aut faciam. Either I’ll find a way, or I’ll make one.

As I became well-versed in all things property, I became the go-to girl for anyone’s property-adjacent questions. This soon developed into advising friends and acquaintances on various property and interior design challenges — a floorplan rejig here, a colour consultation there. And before I knew it, a business was born.
